and the beds are equally comfortable. the patio is also a great place to sit and read or have a glass of wine. our hosts were delightful and helpful, even down to doing a little food shopping for us so we had something for supper on our first night. they were attentive without us feeling they were watching us all the time! guest stayed in la chataigne very spacious accommodation full of oak beams and granite. we were three generations staying in two of gill & pat’s gites with inter-connecting doors. the kitchen/diner table was big enough for 9 to sit at with a bit of help from the side board. the gardens are lovely and full of entertainment for the children, the pool being favourite and as we all know, if the children are happy everyone is happy. thank you gill & pat for being so helpful we had a great time. guest stayed in la chataigne what a wonderful stay; the perfect location to get away from it all and enjoy the simple things in life. the gites are very clean, comfortable and tastefully furnished with wifi to stay connected. the kitchens are well equipped and stone bbqs on the patio area offer an easy way to cook some of the delicious local produce from the markets while enjoying a glass on wine in the evening. there is plenty to do without even getting into the car including the pool and the rest of the garden which is set up with a variety of games and activities for all ages. the bikes are perfect too with a variety of sizes to explore the beauty of the local countryside. gill and pat seem to have got the balance just right – friendly and accessible (being just across the lane) but give you lots of space! guest stayed in la noisette what a fantastic week. the gite is spacious and comfortable and the pool is a dream on hot days. guest stayed in la chataigne we have had a wonderful, relaxing week in a beautiful and quiet gite. pat and gill are excellent wonderful hosts and are a mine of information about the area. guest stayed in la noisette the gite and garden are excellent with great facilities for children too – the secure garden and gated pool were a godsend. guest stayed in la noix lovely weather, gite and hosts. it is good to find a gite with comfortable seating for the evening. guest stayed in la noisette gill & pat are excellent hosts, they welcome you,make sure you are familiar with all aspects of the property and amenities on site and in the area,then leave you to get on and enjoy your stay, always being there should you require assistance. the property is equipped to a very high standard, and tastefully decorated and furnished. there is so much to do in the area details of which are carefully presented in a file. we have visited on a number of occasions and will certainly be returning. guest stayed in la noisette we stayed at la chataigne, very spacious and well equipped. the bbq and patio area we put to good use most days. the good weather i requested gill somehow managed to pull off too. the garden (which is huge) and pool area are beautifully kept. pat & gill have a host of local restaurants to suggest. it must be hell having to go to check them all out. although we only managed to eat out one night, perhaps sitting on the patio sampling the local wine looking at the stars made it too much effort to go out. to say that pat & gill are congenial hosts is an understatement, nothing was too much trouble. we will definitely consider coming back and we have already told a host of people to check out the website. guest stayed in la chataigne les arbres is the most excellent accommodation we have ever had for a holiday. the gite has everything anyone would need to ensure the perfect getaway. gill and pat are brilliant hosts and any one staying in their accommodation would be well catered for. guest stayed in la chataigne we have had a wonderful holiday here at les arbres. we have never stayed in such a well-equipped holiday home and the children have had a great time in the garden. would love to return in the future. guest stayed in la chataigne thank you gill and pat for a lovely stay in la chataigne. the gite is beautiful and very roomy. the garden and pool have been perfect. the kids have really enjoyed the garden games. a fantastic holiday. accommodation is very spacious and of a great standard. we spent a lot of time at the poolside, the water is always warm and it’s great having it just on your doorstep. guest stayed in la chataigne the cottage is very comfortable and the garden is designed for taking things easily. guest stayed in la noix beautiful gite in the heart of the french countryside. we chose this holiday particularly as we have 3 children and there is a large enclosed garden. it meant that we were able to relax more while the children played on the swings, badminton or generally messed around. the swimming pool is enclosed so this is not a problem. there is also canoeing and tree climbing in the area so great for older children guest stayed in la chataigne there are too few superlatives to describe what a great holiday we had. we travelled with our children, their partners and our two young grandchildren and stayed in la noisette and an adjoining gite – la chataigne. the gites were delightful and very well furnished. the owners, pat and gill, live opposite and were always on hand to help and were wonderful hosts – nothing was too much trouble for them. our grandchildren loved the play equipment in the
